Our next inductee of the night is former football standout Zach West. a 2011 graduate,  Zach was a four-year starter on the offensive line for the Eagles. During his career, LCA rushing attack prospered. In four years behind Zach and the offensive line, LCA generated more than 21,000 yards of offense, averaged more than 7 yards per rushing attempt and scored more than 2,100 points. They were one of the most prolific offenses in the state.

He was named first-team all-state as a junior and senior. As a senior, he was named to the MaxPreps/U.S. Air Force Small Schools All-America Team, as well as being named to the Lexington Herald-Leader “Class of the Commonwealth” list of the top-22 players in Kentucky.

Rated as the 17th best offensive guard in the nation by Scout.com, Zach became the first Eagle to play football for a power five conference school when he signed with the University of Kentucky. After redshirting his freshman year, Zach became a stalwart of the Wildcat offensive line tallying more than 40 starts during his career.
