Softball To Host Annual "Love Big" Game this Weekend

LCA and Paris High School Declare this Saturday #loveBIG Day at the Ballpark

Softball teams, fans, and community will participate in a pregame, on-field prayer to bring awareness to www.lovebigfoundation.org

Lexington, Kentucky (May 8, 2019) – This Saturday, May 11, Lexington Christian Academy and Paris High School women’s softball teams will go head to head during an 11am game. The two schools have jointly declared the event “#loveBIG Day at the Ballpark”. The inaugural game was played in 2018.

The driving force behind the event is to honor the memory of Jack Paris, an amazing young man whose life sadly ended far too soon in 2017. Additionally, the game will garner attention for the #loveBIG Foundation, Inc. The #loveBIG Foundation was born out of the heart and actions of Jack.

The purpose of the foundation is carrying on Jack’s legacy by educating and advocating for our youth. Monetary donations made to the foundation are utilized to help advance the lives of young people throughout the Commonwealth. Assistance may include covering the cost of a uniform for a first job, an application fee for a school or club, or sending a kid to camp.  All requests are made online and reviewed by the foundation board for consideration. Volunteers can donate time to assist youth with activities such as completing an application to learning about how a checking account works. Jack lived life outside the proverbial “box” and the foundation invites the community to think outside the box as well as it relates to considering supporting www.lovebigfoundation.org

“Loving big was Jack’s credo,” said his father, Nathan Paris. “The #loveBIG Foundation is our way of honoring his memory and paying forward the love he shared with so many.”

The game will be played at Lexington Christian Academy Baseball Stadium located at 450 West Reynolds Road, Lexington, Kentucky 40503.
